Cursive isn’t taught in school anymore. I used to send letters through the mail to my nieces written in cursive hahahaha.

Sort of like making them use those old rotary dial phones

We are only taught to write in cursive. I think it's the case for most european countries , except the one that don't teach writing anymore.
Writing simple was quite difficult for me when I did my 4th and 11th grade in the US.

Speaking of difference between Europe and the US I have a question about Greek yogurt which some of you said is better for chickens. (By the way, Lilly refused completely the yogurt so I have been sneaking in a tea spoon in the flock's mash for a few days). Here Greek yogurt is not a controlled appellation so basically it can be anything ranging from yogurt with added cream, sheep yogurt, or cow yogurt that has been filtered three times instead of two. The only common point is that it has more fat and usually tastes softer than plain yogurt.
What exactly do you call greek yogurt ?

Thirsty from a few days ago. This is not my new hype waterer, it's an old bowl that gets rained into and all the chickens and cats seem to think it tastes better, especially after some maturing.

The rock next to it is what we use to smash our corn. It's Inca corn, I think you call it decorative corn, so definitely tougher and starchier than the sweet corn we grow for ourselves but it keeps much better.

I don’t think Greek Yoghurt is a controlled name anywhere.
I had never called it that until I came to the US. It has many different names in different cultures.
The key attribute is that it is thicker and that this is the result of straining it (rather than adding gelatin or gum).
Straining remove a lot of the whey and with the whey comes much of the lactose which is appealing to some.
It also curdles less readily when heated so is favored for making various curries and Middle Eastern dishes.
By obsessively reading labels I have found what is marketed as Greek Yoghurt in the US most consistently is ‘live’ - ie has living cultures and often has more strains than ‘non-Greek’ yoghurt.
It is also more expensive!

Trying to finish my door, all 4 of my batteries to my Dewalt saw and drill are drained sheesh! I think they are just too old and won’t hold a good charge anymore.

Oh well guess I will just have to sit and watch chooks for a bit!

Well, I have some answers to issues happening lately. My shoulder, getting a x-ray and MRI to confirm but he diagnosed it as a torn muscle. While he was feeling around he hit the right spot with his fingers and I about came off the table. Claims he could feel a partial tear. The other issue I have been having for a month now is strange dizzy spells. They hit out of no where, not related to my blood sugar and are different from a low blood sugar dizzy spell and last longer. My vision is even affected and during them I have to close my eyes or whatever I am trying to look at is jerking back and forth. I was afraid it could be heart related. Blood pressure is perfect like always and I had 2 ekg's ran, perfect. My doctor thinks they are a seizure. Going to try to do it on the same day, but I also have to have 2 MRI's done on my brain, with and without contrast along with a ultrasound on my carotid just to make sure there is no blockage then see a neurologist. I was not expecting this, but when I was a baby I did have 3 febrile seizures. I am relieved that as of right now they do not think it is heart related but seizures scare me just as much.

I can almost laugh at that I'm sorry. Now, in the midst of a wicked I feel like I am in the pits of you know where hot flash, nothing is funny,.

Rebecca. This may sound crazy to you. But these past couple of months I've been adding "chia seeds" too my breakfasts sauces and cold drinks. My hot flushes have completely stopped.
No more waking up with them . I have shoulder hip and spine pain that wakes me but thankfully these hot flashes are gone, completely.

Heaven knows how that's worked but it has. I've just ordered a mix of flax and linseed too, I hope this helps

Hope YOU are okay after that tumble!

That was a really strange one.

After I fell I cleaned myself up and went for a short walk with my old dog. Then as I got back I sat outside with princess the cat and dog. As I got up my knee became really painful, later my hip started to hurt and the top of my leg. I had to give up and go to bed putting a hot water bottle on the 4 points of pain. It's lots better today but not completely pain free, I'm not going to exert myself so much today. That was a really dangerous thing for me
