We are only taught to write in cursive. I think it's the case for most european countries , except the one that don't teach writing anymore.
Writing simple was quite difficult for me when I did my 4th and 11th grade in the US.

Speaking of difference between Europe and the US I have a question about Greek yogurt which some of you said is better for chickens. (By the way, Lilly refused completely the yogurt so I have been sneaking in a tea spoon in the flock's mash for a few days). Here Greek yogurt is not a controlled appellation so basically it can be anything ranging from yogurt with added cream, sheep yogurt, or cow yogurt that has been filtered three times instead of two. The only common point is that it has more fat and usually tastes softer than plain yogurt.
What exactly do you call greek yogurt ?

Thirsty from a few days ago. This is not my new hype waterer, it's an old bowl that gets rained into and all the chickens and cats seem to think it tastes better, especially after some maturing.

The rock next to it is what we use to smash our corn. It's Inca corn, I think you call it decorative corn, so definitely tougher and starchier than the sweet corn we grow for ourselves but it keeps much better.
Must be an awesome vintage of wild water if even the cats drink it 😁

That was a really strange one.

After I fell I cleaned myself up and went for a short walk with my old dog. Then as I got back I sat outside with princess the cat and dog. As I got up my knee became really painful, later my hip started to hurt and the top of my leg. I had to give up and go to bed putting a hot water bottle on the 4 points of pain. It's lots better today but not completely pain free, I'm not going to exert myself so much today. That was a really dangerous thing for me

Thank you for asking 😀

I just wondered if anyone else has had these sort of things happening? Hence I went into detail. 🤔
Yup, I tripped over my pant leg last week as I was removing my outer clothes, I wear double pants when it gets cold.

Anywhoo down I went with a crash almost crushing the cat… 😆

So yup I do stuff like that.

This week it was Fluffy tripping me up, I was backing up hauling the wheelbarrow out of a stall and she was behind me, I tripped over her and only my holding onto the wheelbarrow kept me upright. She squawked and ran off, so o had to run after her to make sure she was ok.

Chiiiiikeeeeens!

Anywhoo put you feet up and relax and watch your ‘flock’ 💕❤️

OK. I will come clean.
I don’t think I know what writing in cursive actually means!
Is it the same as ‘joined up writing’?
Yes like what I did on Butterscotch’s egg

I can write in cursive.
Me too. My sister was 4 years older, and taught me to write my name in cursive when I was in 1st grade. I wrote it on one of my papers, and the teacher got mad at me. "No, in 1st grade you print. You will learn cursive in 3rd grade."

Miss Hersey, you were no inspiration, that's for sure.

"joined up writing"? I never heard that one before.

Some should NOT teach - I only remember 2 teachers who were good teachers the rest were witches; hmmm, the 2 were male teachers - seems I do get along better with men than women 😁 less drama. My mother has pointed this out to me.

And yet male chickens and horses drive me crazy!!!

Is it that the standard for learning cursive is in 1st grade? 🤔
