That’s great that you have a backup plan where you can pop back home.
Did the Tylenol soaked bread work out alright?
I forgot to bring bread last night and again this morning :he

But I will top up her Tylenol at around 2pm so I will try the bread then. I am getting forgetful in my advanced years!!

How many of them do you have? What colour eggs do they lay?
So that pen has the backyard mixes. The parents are TSC hens and an EE mix Roo. 10 total, Easter Eggers, Olive Eggers, Prarie Bluebell, Mystic Onyx, Americana, Saphire Gem.We get green, blue, pink, cream and orange from them.
I hatched 2 eggs from each hen and only 14 made it so there are 6 roos and 8 hens. None of the orange layer babies made it. Those babies are in the last big run before the duck pen. They interact through their fencing with the parents. They just aren't old enough to be in with them yet and I honestly think I'm just gonna keep them separate. They have plenty of room and they are doing great.
If I do separate pairs for breeding, I'll add the other 2 girls in different every time.

And the Cemani? Is it just the two? Are they laying eggs yet?

She looks lovely, and I am sure she will be ok outside in some foggy cruddy weather for a few minutes, mine were outside yesterday in the cold and flurries - brats! But they were in and out all day. Soon they won’t be able to go outside once the snow get too deep.
She had over an hour and a half. Then a foot toe and legs soak with plenty of castor oil rubbed in.

It's started to rain so now she is happily munching on her corn on the cob in the run.

It'll be dark here soon so I don't feel she has had such a bad day. Because of her time out with pusscat and eating her favourite bits of grass and dandelion leaves
