I really love my heated dog water bowl for keeping water liquid in the chicken run when it's cold. The first one lasted 2 years. When it quit, I didn't think twice about buying another one. About $20 (?) I think, at TSC.

I bet it has saved me more than one slip-and-fall. I'd have to carry a heavy bucket of water out 2-3 times a day. Awkward. Uneven footing. Slippery walkway. $20 looks really cheap when I think of it that way.

I would love something like this but you cannot get rechargeable heated water bowls. How I wish some genius would make one

I so wish I could have caught nosey princess, she shoot off from my front door too spy on my neighbours chatting by our fence.
Her and her husband were really amused. I hope princess isn't a gossip she was listening intently to every word they said, until I was about to take a picture, then she was all innocent

I love this bird but she is a bit of a menace. She is built like a tank and hasn’t understood that I need somewhere to put my feet if I am to progress forward. She just stands in front of me and won’t budge.

No way to run an extension cord out to the run? We drilled a hole in the garage wall to run one out to the run. It's a heavy duty exterior grade cord.

I had a slip-and-fall 9 years ago that broke my wrist. I get a gut clench reaction every time I feel myself slip. That will probably never go away.

I’m having such stubborn rooster issues today with Sir. Jaffar. He needs a bath, he’s been picking at his feathers for a while now. And he only stops when I feed him mince steak
I want to snuggle with him, but he’s having none of that! He’s already made a mess of his food dish in the chicken room.
What a Sir. Brat!!
