California in winter is pretty good . Then you can go back in the summer. A lot of people do that.

Sir jaffar’s problem today, he is annoyed by the trucks in the alley, thumping out all types of noises. It’s bothering me too!

I practically live on the mountain range. I fly those foothills and canyons all the time (weather permitting) not so much lately.

I wonder if I should get one of those plastic strip doors to cover their pop door. I’m very cold nights I can fully close it but they are then grumpy come the morning!

Make your own strip door. Take an old pillowcase or similar and cut strips most of the way up, tack it over the door. Presto-chango - your own strip door. Will help hold some heat in and act a bit as a baffle for windier nights
