Same here.
I couldn't get over how bugs appeared last week with just a little bit of sun. I really don't know where they come from
We opened the front door to let the dog out, our father really thought we could dig a tunnel for him
That snow drift was was higher than the first floor and so much packed against it. When I opened the door, snow just started falling in. My mom was livid

A new take on a "fluffy butt" (from the beginning of the week)

I was thinking the same thing today. I think she is already interesting to look at but she will be stunning when she is done. It seems her brown is getting deeper and maybe she is adding some black. It's almost like she is a butterfly emerging. It's just amazing
I have one Jubilee Orpington, named Widget, hatched mid-June 2021. She hasn't ever done a "full on" molt like my Australorps. It's more of a constant shedding/growing. (She's my only speckled "suspect" bird.)

The first time (last winter), I thought her brown coloring got darker, but I wasn't sure. It could have been the old feathers were faded. I'll be sure to let you all know if she has more spots after she's done this time.

She's also been the only one to go broody. Which she did 3 times last summer, but not when it would have been handy and she could have raised chicks! She's always "gotten back to work" quickly... except last time. That was August, and she called it done for the season and hasn't laid since. Then to prove her point, she tossed off a few feathers every day, as if to say, "Well, I'm busy doing this, and I can't multitask!"
My rear end is Popsicles right now, even though I woke up at stupid o'clock because of overheating. I forgot to eat and drink chia seeds yesterday I won't forget today
I need to hear more about chia for this... What does it do?

OK. Or you could set your alarm clock.
It needs to be examined before she has got off the roost and had any chance to eat.
These days that isn’t very early.
Sour crop is an unmistakable smell like yeast. Smells like a brewery or like bread dough.
My sister checked her. Still has a big crop. Not sure what she smells like. I'll have to ask my sister.
