I should not have followed the Pernskitey Poultry page when I saw that gorgeous mottled silkie. First thing that pops up on my facebook feed this morning. Mottled juvenile available, with a black companion. Dang it, sis was just in South Carolina last week visiting the Biltmore estate.

Send her back! Tell her you need those birds!

I feel that, I follow twoguysandsomeland and they have stunning Brahmas they put up on FB on occasion and the cutest little Cayuga (sp?) ducks that are black/iridescent green!! I do not even want ducks but they tempt me every time.

I would so have ducks if I had a nice huge pond for them - maybe when I win that lottery

Not to be outdone by her sister, the other Rock laid her first egg this morning.

And the colour? Hope it’s a nice light brown

Sorry, I apologize Kelly, I should have updated you all as you have been so helpful. We actually postponed taking her because of the snow, my partner will drive her tomorrow morning.
More details on my thread and I will let you know how the visit went tomorrow.
