Twofer tuesday, Kasumi and Samara. I had the run door open to give them a second bowl of water and my dog tried to zip in there. Liara and Ash both rushed over and pecked him and I hope he learned a lesson! He's a smart dog but lately has been pushing his boundaries.

Here they are after he retreated to the other side of the pen, totally ready to beat him up. He's just barely visible on the right side. I'm glad that they are ready to defend from him, hopefully he keeps his distance from now on.

No, just "antibiotics," and it was not a sure thing, it's depending on her symptoms. Thus the pictures if she asks. The only thing I'm observing is that she's got bubbles in her eyes. She seems okay otherwise, and the vet examined her too.

She is a nervous lady, very alert and watches for predators and anything amiss. She is very predator-savvy and runs to be under the coop or within the wire run when there's anything possibly, remotely wrong. She doesn't take chances at all.

She mostly stays out of the fray of pullet-chasing that Popcorn engages in, occasionally positioning herself in a savvy spot to watch and just stand there making a pullet dodge to get by her. Sometimes it looks to me like she kind of likes the thrill. Generally she's quite tolerant of the pullets, and they know it and are very comfortable though still wary around her, she only needs to lean in a little and they'll move away. The only one she actually admonishes once in a great while is Popcorn.

She'll answer to her name and readily come to me for a walnut bit; but she hangs toward the back, calling out a long caw. She doesn't like the intense competition for treats. Popcorn too knows her name when it's her turn. But all the pullets answer to "Spuds" and are only slowly learning their names, my fault. Popcorn tries to keep them all away so it's a scrum.

She is first to go to bed, but I'm not sure if that's because she doesn't feel well. Popcorn is second and is pretty close behind.
Sounds like she is your head hen! I hope those bubbles are as bad as her symptoms get.
Also it’s great that the spuds respond to Spuds 😁
