Silkies are just different. How can something look soo fuzzy and yet underneath that layer of fluff be a mass of pin feathers? While I was out refilling the feeders I was watching Branch. He would take a piece from my hand but not eat, he gave it to one of the girls. Did not want to be touched. He then walked away, stiffly, definitely something off with his gait. Ok buddy, like it or not I have to hold you for a second. Pins everywhere, his belly, between his legs and underneath his wings. Just long enough to be throwing off how he walks, I am sure it hurts. He will probably remain in his bad mood for several more days. I'm fine with it now, I know he is not dying.

Good job keeping track of him and what's up.

I loved how they bolted out the door flying running…

Dodging gets you smacked by feathered wings. They calculated and went based upon NOTHING moving. I move is when they collide with me.

Last night Buttercup flew (half crash landed) off the door top - not sure how she gets up there as most of her wing feathers are gone hahahaha! Anyways she brushed by my head - we both looked at each other when she landed sort of going ‘whoa Nelly that was close!’. Haha

I loved how they bolted out the door flying running…

They're a little more hesitant when it isn't full daylight... just a little....otherwise, "Release The Horde" is a daily thing.

I am going to have to bring him in so I can feed him a can of wet cat food. If he is out with the girls he will give it all to them.
