Yes, some are quite poopy - they haven't all figured out to lay in the nest box - instead they are in random spots! Just for comparison, the egg in the center, though slightly elongated, is a standard large size egg (from my older hen) The others are all pullet eggs.

After a period of no-sun, a day of any-sun will make me smile.

In the spring, I have been known to walk around with a goofy grin on my face on the first nice sunny day after a cloudy spell.

Their camouflage is better than I thought. I walked by and saw them all together rooting around. So I snapped a picture.
Now I can only just see two of them!

Neighbor was given a new wheelchair. She called me to ask if I could come over and put it together for her.
I thought that they came out together already? But I’ll go over and see what I can do for her.

I spy 4. Strangely enough, I can only find one of the light ones!!!!

I always find it amazing how quickly/easily most can just 'vanish' into the landscape.

@RoyalChick : Do not look at that photo. Just back away from the glorious iridescent black birds before you get 'star struck'. Again, just back away quickly and quietly and no one will get hurt (or have 'duck math!)

Right?? Once you see you cant unsee and did I mention they are Bantam sized??? The boys avg weight is only .9 kg, they cant be THAT much trouble can they??
