Neighbor was given a new wheelchair. She called me to ask if I could come over and put it together for her.

Happy Friday everyone.
I got a black fluffy butt and a white fluffy butt waiting for Sylvie to report that the wild water bowl is frozen solid.

Sylvie has regrown most of her feathers but is still sleeping in the nest box. I am not sure if I should intervene or not.

I let my gals decide when they are done; I have Sophia and Misty still sleeping in the nest boxes which I pick poops out of every morning.

But I don’t mind - it’s chilly and I am sure they are happy to snuggle in the boxes.

I wouldn’t worry. Once they decide they want to be with the rest of the gang they will start roosting with them again, after all they can’t let the others have the hood high locations!

Lady Featherington is fully covered in feathered again. Now they just need to grow all the way out.

I hear you on the white/splash colour - I am now calling any white chicken ‘hey you’, no wonder they don’t listen to me hahaha!
