Is it bad that they keep laying? Sheba is a laying machine. She began in February and we still get an egg nearly every day! The other girls stopped with the moult, but Sheba didn't moult much. They aren't very big eggs, but they're super regular!
Well my worry is it wears her out. No sign of that so far, but the laying machines tend to have short lives and I love my little Babs so I worry that she isn't taking a break.

Princess is with us a lot of the time but she's honestly a compost machine and I can't cope in here without that nappy I've been waiting for for the past 11 days.

The people that sold me this said, yes they had a medium size so I immediately paid them on receiving that message they then messaged me back, saying sorry we don't respond on weekends that was the last message I received until yesterday.

4 days later I got a message saying the delivery company was waiting to receive the parcel off them then the same again on the 8th day.

Yesterday it was to arrive, then another message it was coming today and still it isn't here.

I wish ebay would ban these lazy good for nothing let down sellers 😞
Use your ingenuity. Make one for her yourself. Can’t be that hard, and Princess should be able to be in the house. MHO

We have bald eagles here that nest close by. There was a couple, then last year they had a juvenile, and it is still around although normally I think he should have left for his own territory. They do take chickens, just pick them and fly off, and the ones we have here are not afraid of humans at all. I’ve had the disturbing experience of one swooping for a chicken when I was just three or four meters behind and it was difficult to make it leave. Beautiful birds in the sky, strikingly ugly close up.

Two for Tuesday pictures :
Théo and Piou-piou don't get along every day, but today they were sweethearts.

A very close, though undesired, two in the nest situation for Nieva and Mélisse. (My coop is an old stable in our basement and some of the nests are holes in the walls, like this one.)

Nieva and Lulu. Lulu started laying last week at 29 weeks ! Like @Sally PB's Robin, on the coop's floor. Not an issue for me, as long as it's not under the roost !

That makes sense. I was telling hubby last night, I bet if she's been laying 330 days, we've gotten 315 eggs. It's pretty amazing.

Compared to Meanie's eggs they're little, say a store-bought medium to Meanie's large to extra-large. She laid one huge double-yolk this year. She's also given us maybe 4 soft shelled ones, and as I've pointed out they go from medium brown to nearly white. I've given up worrying about that though.

She's so much better not that Manny's gone. Feathers growing back and no longer standing/walking like a penguin. Altogether happier and healthier.

@every one
As I said earlier I've had a very worrying pain in what I believe to be my upper intestine.
I've been trying to research what this could be. One thing I noticed was I had eaten a Belgium chocolate cheese cake from my local supermarket. The pain started that night. I'm not saying that's what started this but it's the timing that made me think it could be, or a strain.

Anyway. Just assuming it's something I may have ate, I found a clip and I have used that as a guide for a temporary treatment until I can see a doctor..

I didn't have a green apple or fresh mint , so I used a red apple and a pukka 3 mint teabag in their place
If I only lived closer. I’d fix you up good! I’m a good chef 👨‍🍳 people tell me.

That sounds like about normal turn-around time for a small business. If you want immediate, I’ve heard those paper face masks work fine.

Congratulations Lulu! What color does she lay?

And I don’t think you could have bald eagles? Although I know there are a few other species that live there.

Window picture of my ladies scratching for some birdseed. I was very late getting them up due to having a morning appointment in town. They are fine though, filling their bellies and happily sunbathing.

We're very busy and tired here, toddler is trying to completely drop the nap...I am not enthused about this particular life change. Naptime is when I get things done!
