I've just been reading up on this.
It's pretty scary but if it is I'd relieved to be honest, there are far more serious problems.

I'll have to wait to see my doctor, then there is the all important Christmas. Everything is on hold for weeks

My main worry is my animals. I'm honestly at a loss there
Is there anyone you can ask to help with the animals if you have to go in to the hospital?

With me, I had the pain for several weeks but it kept coming and going. Then one day it was terrible and didn't go and in the middle of the night I knew I had to call for an ambulance. I was only in the hospital for about 2 days I think and I managed to call someone to come help with my animals.

No one I could absolutely rely on. The guy that was paid the last time lied about when he came and my animals were in a dreadful state.

I hate to say this but the mentality is pretty messed up here. Well meaning people but not reliable

Hawk had my hen on Friday, i saved her and we are recovering. Dont leave them alone for not even a minute. I am beginning to think this particular hen may not see as well as the others. This particular hen was attacked by a fox in June too. She is so tough my Golden Chicken. :love View attachment 3703605
So glad you saved her. I rescued the Greatest Hen Ever from a hawk once. I was not in time for any of the others.

Window picture of my ladies scratching for some birdseed. I was very late getting them up due to having a morning appointment in town. They are fine though, filling their bellies and happily sunbathing.

We're very busy and tired here, toddler is trying to completely drop the nap...I am not enthused about this particular life change. Naptime is when I get things done!
Nooo, not a dropped nap 😩 I hope it’s just a phase, or that it just needs to be moved back later in the day. 🤞🏽

Tiny beige eggs. She is by far the latest to lay of my four pullets that hatched in May, and her eggs are the smallest. Maybe they will become a tad bigger but her hatch sister's have remained the same size.

Of course we do. They are all over the Alps (and the Pyrenees). We call them Aigle royal, which sounds much more majestic than bald !
From Wikipedia: dark green is permanent habitat, light green temporary nesting area, blue wintering.

Agile royal is what we call a Golden eagle. Bald eagles have bright white heads at maturity.
