I put Sir Jaffar outside with the hens, but he stood outside my bedroom window and crowed his Cocorico. I brought the spoiled brat back inside with me.

I was looking to see if I had any of this small LED lights for those Christmas sweaters ‘hey Fluffy where are ya girl??’ Hahaha

Mr P’s feathers have dried up and I have decided that since he needs his feathers trimmed anyways to see, I would trim off all the dirty matted ones and clean up what’s left. I did manage to clean most of the blood off last night. But the staining will take a bit longer.

Once it dries and fades it will be rusty brown coloured.

Poor little gentleman Mr. P !

Well it isn’t slowing him down! So far today he has bred 4 hens, chased Raven down when she was being a bad hen, he scarfed down a load of feed and has been in and out of the barn about 20 times. Right now he is standing watch as the crows and ravens are just squawking up a storm here. I think hunters are in the bush behind me as the horses are also very much on alert looking back there.

Yes it’s dried up now and I was able to wipe off a lot of it.

It looked worse than it would be, white feathers (or fur) really make things look bad.
