Wait. Much of that stuff is just fine out of a fridge for even a couple of days.
Butter may melt but it doesn’t go bad.
I have jams that I keep out of the fridge for years.
Even frozen veg and fruit will be fine refrozen.
Be careful with meat and seafood.
But if you cooked that up after defrosting then it is safe to refreeze.
You may not have to lose anything.
And if you keep the fridge door closed then it should stay cool and frozen for a couple days.

Geez! Alex don’t go tempting the Fates 😳

Everything can be replaced - except you and the chooks. Jams and jellies can be stored at n a cool cupboard we rarely refrigerate those items, same with condiments and sauces mixes.

It seems you are telling me it’s cold there at night, you can store items in the trunk of your car. Also if you want to keep things cool dig a pit about 18” deep put your items in there and cover with a board to keeep stuff out. This is what people did 100 yrs ago.
And the tax and SHRA stuff

The babies have taken over it seems !

They are part of the herd now and pretty much go everywhere, last night Henny and the chicks slept in the upper nestbox - poor Rose had to sleep elsewhere - tough when you’re moulting and a couple of cute babies kick you out of your preferred sleeping spot!

I trust you RC. Let’s see how today goes. I was kinda nervous about the possibility of losing everything. Yes kinda foolish worried about food going bad. :hugs

You’re up early today!

Deep breaths and take stock of what’s cool or frozen. And if you have to cook up a storm that’s ok too! But yes it’s frustrating when the fridge goes on the blink.

You seem surprised - is it because I yelled at you ?❤️ I just wanted to get your attention.

Ok what’s done is done, have a sleep in, it not even 6 there, then you can assess things. And you have Bopo there with you to help 😊

I feel kinda foolish about it, now that I’m thinking about it more clearly.
And I don’t owe any taxes on the subject, because food isn’t taxable here in the USA! :lau:gig:clap
