Dakota is so sweet this morning. Quietly sitting on the perch waiting for me to go inside the chickens room. She saw me look in, and started saying something about wanting canned corn 🌽. She got her canned corn. :love:old
Well you’re well trained aren’t you !

Hahahahaha

The visual was just too funny!

Had that with my 5 (yes 5) cats and a bat once. I saved the bat and set it free. The cats all hated me the rest of the night, they were taking turns jumping on my bed waking me up.
Yup Had that a few years ago. Poor bat was so exhausted he ended up hanging from the bedroom curtain rod for a few hours to recover.

Two of my dogs choose me, I had absolutely no choice at all with this one.
He refused food and water and was listless, when I arrived he became full of life and within hours of being in my home he ate like crazy.

Sometimes these little fur people decide who they want.

I certainly believe that. After Bella passed recently it was like losing a child. I can't imagine not having our dogs though, my life is certainly better for it.

All 15 brighten our lives.
3 Huskies
3 pug mixes, mama and 2 siblings
1 American bulldog, our only purchase
1 rat terrier
1 shitzu
1 German shepherd
5 smaller mutt mixes, 2 are siblings

Today's Take. Much, much better than just a couple of weeks ago with only 4-6 eggs a day. Lots of littles have started laying, and a few of the older girls after molting.

If they keep this up, will be able to buy 1 weeks worth of feed with a month's worth of eggs soon. (Hint, hint girls...ALL you youngsters should be laying...)

@BY Bob Good Glynda, recharging her paint sprayer! And is it Queen Aurora that left her pink egg there, too, or is it a Lady F or Sydney egg?

:( . It really is an unbearable pain. I am so sorry. :hugs :hugs :hugs

My babies have all been rescues in one way or another. I'm dreading the day my old boy leaves but given time and knowing me I will find a way to rescue again.

I found that giving another life that could be have been hopeless another chance is so healing.
I can't imagine not having our dogs though, my life is certainly better for it.
Same here :)
