It's a nor'easter. Only the east coast primarily north of the Mason Dixon line.Is that the storm that is going to miss Michigan off to the south? Hubby sure would like to have it here!

That is a good problem.I am awash in eggs - 15 yesterday! My older girls finished moulting and started back laying about every other day. Heaven help me if Penelope Sophia and Blanche start up! And let’s not forget Marty Henny and Curly
Might need another fridge to store eggs in!
Awww. Happy chickie video.Good Morning fluffy butts and all!
I came back home to DVC at around 4:30 AM last night, and I could hear Ijak crowing to welcome me home. I got a small amount of sleep, and came out to the chooks.

Snow on Owen's Peak-Windy and 46 degrees Fahrenheit outside.
And when I opened the coop door, I was amazed on what I found!
Big, red combs, nice glossy, full and fluffy feathers, about 15 pullet eggs, some of them even in the nest boxes! I was so proud!
A pic of my Brahma Cluckie, built for the cold weather.

Mine do. I've noticed they react more when they are chicks. Both Philomena and Abigail have fallen asleep on my lap while chicks while listening to music (it was some form of polyphony). On a serious note, don’t you all find that your chickens really enjoy music? Mine clearly do!
