During a woe is me rant a few weeks ago, (apologies to everyone), I mentioned that my buddy is having colon cancer surgery. He had surgery today and the doctor believes he got it all. Thanks for any and all thoughts and prayers. I will gladly post tax pics tomorrow yall 😊
Such good news all around - please feel free to whine and rant.

I am very glad for your friend that’s wonderful news. And a wee baby to go with it - you do know I am ‘baby mad’ right? We expect updates now!

😊

Today Marty laid a perfect pink egg, I am sure HRH will be pleased with this. I know I am!

Hopefully Marty can keep this up for the next few months before going broody again, and I can get some lovely silkie babies from her.

My friend is good with my borrowing her Roo, I will likely go with the black one.

That is a beauty! Well done Marty! :clap :clap

The last two nights have been extra crazy stormy with intense winds. The plastic on the coop shredded off, hopefully i can replace it soon.
This morning it slush-hailed, possible snow tonight and rest of the week before turning super cold and therefore dry. So much mud.
The cats are going bonkers too!

My church pastor came all the way out of town to bring me some supplies and vitamins. Then he’s taking his wife to the surgery center for a spinal surgery. That’s one dedicated man!
The surgery went very well and she is now in recovery ❤️‍🩹 good news for all the church family

New rooster in town! Oops I meant grandson😊View attachment 3723314
Congratulations he is adorable.
Oh that head of hair. Rosie was born with a full head of hair like that. I thought I was dying with heart burn. My family threw out the old wives tail that heartburn meant the baby would have a head full of hair. I remember snapping she had better as much as I was suffering.
