Hello everyone! We are safe, the house is good. Generator was exhausting right at the crawlspace door but now we know to be careful how we place it. The dragon and dog are safe, thankfully we were able to sit tight next door while the air cleared.
Power came back on right as we were going to bed last night too.

I do love the shed idea, orrrr there's a beautiful coop on marketplace that's got a Dutch door!!! It's also double the size I want so I could divide it into a shed and coop combo.
I think I'll do the run seperate so the girls get a bigger one. Hubby wants to run power out there for sure. Only issue is we have to follow zoning and potentially pull a permit. Downside of having mom in political office...we all have to carefully follow the rules.
Happy to see all the good news here this morning, and the conure information is great! Our dog is only 7 this year so I very likely have time to figure out what we'll do. Pomeranians tend to live forever.
Maybe if I'm lucky I'll get pink eggs like some of y'all are getting, that would be nice.
Samara is still the only girl squatting but she walks right up to me to do it haha. Makes it easier to pick her up and give her a check over. I'm hoping this means she'll be tame enough for kiddo to pet soon.

Shep is very jealous of Samara being picked up. Don't worry, you're still my cuddly puff!

Thought this was funny. Liara has the zoomies! I also got them oyster shell last night, the quart size jars hold almost the full 5lb!

Kasumi was pushing the fake eggs around last night. She's one of the nest sleepers so I guess she's starting to realize they have another use.

Morinth and Ash. It's so funny to hear Morinth grumble at the feeder when she stuffs her head in there! Her crop is always good so I know she's eating, just complaining about the presentation I guess. And Ash...well Ash is always eating.

Your silkie will likely lay an egg the colour of Marty’s - I have only even seen them lay punk eggs, but Rebecca’s silkies laid white eggs I think.
