It's a balmy 10° in sorta SW MO. I did another VERY quick run out to the coop and shut the pop door. Low and behold, all 4 ladies on the top roost. View attachment 3727517

Tomorrow it's supposed to be above freezing! Praise be!

It must be cold there. They are snuggling close together.

We had a couple of hours of sun today which was pretty and made everything nice a slick. Around 1 the rain started, it has made it all the way to 28°
Lots of dripping, we seem to be in the icicle stage. Supposedly it will reach 50 tomorrow, i am sceptical.
The ladies decided 2 day in the coop was enough. Yesterday it was cold but dry and they did ok. Tonight they were afraid of leaving the front of the house, i finally had to chase them to bed. The auto door had closed it was so late. All tucked in now.

Cheeky little thing, wasn't s/he! They are adorable and smart - I could actually be fond of them if they only didn't like chicken for dinner!

It's done, but needs a little tweaking. Maybe another row or two now that it's sewn together. The eggs shown are large store bought ones, and it was a little tight for them.

Without the center egg they fit fairly securely, but the center egg pushes them up a little so they don't feel super secure. Yeah, a row or two along the edges should fix that.

BUT this is what rough drafts are for! I can try making another here in a bit, maybe use a different thickness yarn, different stitch count, stuff like that.

Way Behind and Tired
I'm sorry everyone. I'm 12 pages behind and I don't have it in me to catch up tonight, I'm too tired. I'll try and catch up later in the week.

Aw! A Snow Cat hi Moggy!

Wish it would get above freezing here, but that’s not for another week at least. My kiddos are stuck inside I am afraid.
