I am NOT happy
This morning Samara was waddling and kept trying to preen her bum fluff. Finally got a good look and she had poop just everywhere.
Needed a bath.

She seems to like this whole bath and blowdry thing.

Really snuggling into my hand.

Blow drying. She's still damp and camping out in the bathroom for now.

It was really caked in her fluff. I hope this doesn't happen again, I really don't like having her in the house even if it's necessary.
Also it happened overnight? She was clean yesterday when I did a booty check.

@featherhead007 how do you do it? I'm sitting here going nuts about her being in the bathroom with towels! I'm going to have to scrub the whole room down and take a shower when she is dry and back outside!
She is really cute though.

It’s chilly tonight, -18C and clear, the moon is at a waxing gibbous phase so just coming full and it’s quite bright out there.

In the barn the chooks are in their hen houses, though Cash was a brat and wouldn’t go to bed so she got stuck in with those in Hen House B. Not so warm on there is it kiddo! No one to snuggle up to - brat! That’s her in the corner.

I have been noticing that the chicks are roosting on the edge on their nest box now and only snuggling with their mama when they get chilly. They are growing up fast! 8 weeks old now

And we got the power figured out in the barn, BIL hauled off the plate covers on the switches and all connectors where good, we traced the power line to a light fixture that we had kept in place as a ‘temporary’ junction box until we could run some other cabling to the stall run of lights last summer, the bulb had died and wasn’t completing the circuit, a new bulb solved the problem. Thanks BIL! His suggestion of ‘maybe the bulb is dead’ was correct so lights, cameras and trough de-icer now working.

Checking out BeakBook is she?

She was mad that I didn't let her. (she probably would have interrupted my install of OpenCore).

I did notice some relative silence by the tree. I think she was sitting on a phone to hide it.

Looks like she is planning a road trip to the mountains....I think she is pondering her accommodation options, there!
(or else...hmmm how quickly will big rooster discover that I swiped his CC again - do I have to take the trip BEFORE the next CC bill comes in so he doesn't cancel it on me????)

I don't have a credit card. Mom would notice though and I'd notice the missing cash. I guess I'd better go check.

Also Agathae would have to take me. I'd love to go to California once again.

(Every time I use these Apple things, they make me want to go back to California. Yes, I am actually not Texan.)

I just learned how to deal with it by having them mob my office. Chicken poop everywhere but can be cleaned pretty easy. Oh, and they broke a remote (it was this cheap looking thing so not a big deal).

There was a little bit of a squabble today between princess and the cat/chicken.

Princess had most of the bread bits, which was meant for her anyway but pusscat decided he wanted a little piece. So he took it too the side too nibble and Princess leans down and stares him in the eyes and just snatched it from him. He gave up immediately, well would you want to take on princess.

I'm sad I didn't have a photo to prove it, I was too busy laughing

My cats are obsessed with any food we give the chickens. We have to spread their mix in several places. Junko is particularly into the dried black soldier larve, she will jump up in the shelf when we are getting a scoop. Animals are so weird
