I think yesterday I took this screen shot of Bert all on his own roosting, and Mama Henny and sister Betty snuggled up on the other side of the roosts

Was this last night? They are allowed to go back and forth now between the two rooms, of course everyone wants to roost in HH-A, I have to split them up so they aren’t too crowded im there and move them over to Hen House B.

I’m not 100% certain… it was either an Eagle, or possibly a fight with Hannibal (the youngest of my three boys). It happened the first day I left the new house for a couple hours to go get groceries and other stuff. I came home to all the birds under cover, and when I went to put them up Stick was hiding under the coop. He lost all use of his leg for several weeks, and the next day I found a 25’ trail of his feathers and down in the middle of the field. I hand watered, fed, and carried him to bathe for a few weeks.
Great job bringing him back. You constantly amaze me Kris. :hugs :hugs

Larry is gorgeous.

You made a mistake. Your iPhone has now been BeakBooked.

Also, you have no idea how many times I've gotten poop on my chair. And this chair is a royal pain to clean.
BeakBOOKED. @Ponypoor 's phone has been booked and rented. You might wake up and see that your phone is nowhere to be found, but when you go into the barn you find a iPhone hooked up to all sorts of cords and wires, with a banner saying, "STYROFOAM MOBILE + STARLINK"!

Philomena promised me that Styrophone Mobile will never partner with Elon because, and I quote Philomena here, "I can do better".

She also pecked me for using that phrase because anything she says is copyrighted to her apparently.

I’m loving these photos of Princess with old flockmates! How old is she now? You don’t have plans to bring another couple of exbatts home?
Not right now, I'm not feeling very secure with various ongoing problems being created beyond my control. I can't go into details.

If things calm down and I can cope, I may try again
I have to say, I honestly loved having the battery girls. This sounds a little silly but it's harder with just one because I have to work so much harder at keeping her entertained.
I think I had princess, Amber and flexi in the April 2019. It's a bit of a blur to be perfectly honest. So she is five.
I had a horrible time previously for many years and I was determined too leave my past behind. I always wanted chickens and found them too be healing, they are great fun 😄.

As hard as princess can be, she really keeps my neighbours happy to, especially when she starts too chatter when we are talking, it's almost like she's joining in with our conversations

My cat moved in on January the first 2019. He was hanging around for a year or so as a baby kitten with his sibling. His sibling moved up the road. He often visits her.

Hahahaha wait till they jump on your head with poopy feet :sick

And it’s almost always with cecal poop on their feet.

This morning Henny Penny the babies and Marty were in the feedroom - it’s a routine they have trained me to do, they get to go in the feedroom to eat unattacked by the mob.

I forgot about them, when I opened the door to get some water, there was Henny and Betty up on my desk trying to hack into my laptop, with Bert sitting (💩ing) on my chair giving suggestions for passwords - he gave me a lovely huge cecal poop on my chair…..

I calmly picked up Henny and put her on the floor her babies jumped down - Marty was looking on (she had likely been also giving suggestions on passwords). I opened the feedroom door…..

GET OUT RIGHT NOW! NO ONE CRAPS ON MY CHAIR EVER!

They all took to it out the door in a scramble of little feet 😁

💩💩I had to clean off and disinfectant my chair and desk, mouse, laptop, iPhone….. little brats! I wish I had my phone with me to get a photo but I had left it in the feedroom on my desk for safe keeping, and there was Henny standing on it !!!

Well guess better a chicken in the feedroom standing on my phone - Reenie got loose from her stall one day, sashayed down and tried to come into the feedroom for a visit! That was another GET OUT MOMENT.

Gosh it’s so much fun having pets 🥰💕❤️
Aren't they just wonderful 💩

Yes, yes they are wonderful little 💩 🥰💕❤️

They freak me out though, they will be in the horses stalls before I can get the horses out in the morning, digging away in the manure running between their legs. I am not going to be letting them out in the mornings anymore it’s just too dangerous for them. They can flap and huff and puff all they like.

Here’s Marty - she reminds me of a Kiwi, not sure why she roosts up there all alone likely because it’s safe and quiet.

For perspective there she is on the roost to the left just as one would walk into the HH-B
