Nope, just saying she/he doesn’t look very roosterly to me. Which is why I asked for another photo - got one with gumbo on the ground standing?

They are kinda older photos. He’s almost as big as Pastel. I’ll get some on Sunday. My parents are out of town and I’m spending the weekend at a friend’s house.
He’s the light colored BR in front next to Splotch (the darker one) His tail feathers are curly. I’m positive he’s a rooster, but if you wanna make sure, I’m fine with that because I’m not sure if I want him gone! Also, the photo is from the beginning of January.

Popcorn is not comfortable laying either. She stands, pushes and makes a high, long, descending squeal as the egg comes out. Maybe it's the big effort, and she needs to vocalize as she pushes. Seems like pain to me.

Laying eggs can’t be easy I have no issues with them spending hrs in the nestbox if they wish

Same here! I'm especially excited for Sheps eggs, lovely brown.

The only way I can keep him alive is if you fly down here and get him. Are you willing to fly across the whole country? I’ve asked people if they want him, and they all say no. I wish that people would take him.
