Last year I got BPR's, but I'm looking for heritage. I also want to pick the chicks up, (westlock is a little past Edmonton, which isn't too far away, considering Edmonton is an hour away, and Calgary is 2 hours away--actually 2 and a half...) because for the number of times something gets delayed, or gets lost... I just don't want that happening to my chicks. (I do want copper marans though...and millers is really expensive...)

I would like some French Cuckoo Marans.

The thing with the beaks is because they got debeaked to not be able to peck each other's heads in the cages

I got my Azurs and they were debeaked - I was furious but not much I can do as I got them as POL pullets. I am keeping and eye on them and will start filing down the edges soon. They are starting to get longer now.

I am so glad Mr. P is no longer getting bloodied. He rocks the blue anyway!

I wanted to add green in there but didn’t have time yet there is one spot that needs a little attention for possible pecking.
