And when I find out who gave me this I will make them do my chores.

Evil headache, funny throat, feel blah….

I woke up with the headache figured it was a migraine, that was 5am, I have a whole arsenal of pain meds and nothing got rid of the headache. Now my throat is acting up. No use denyin it. I am sick.

Nothing to do but suck it up and just keep on working I guess. And give the gift that keeps on giving….

My in laws are over and asked if they could buy a chick or two to add to the flock. Then pay chicken support every other month or so.
I told them that as long as dad and I get the new coop up that is fine. Just no silkies!

Also if you do get chicks get 2 or 4 so that it will be equal numbers and they can have friends to grow up with

Thanks - tis the season as I have been saying. At least it’s a long weekend so tomorrow I don’t have to worry about going in to work!

Thanks - tis the season as I have been saying. At least it’s a long weekend so tomorrow I don’t have to worry about going in to work!

My church friends are getting restless. They’re asking me when my chickens will start laying eggs again. I don’t know No one has budged on either side of this strike issue. The chooks think that they can break me, but they can’t!

My question is: how I’m feeding them is wrong or right? My yard is big enough and has enough bugs to satisfy all of them. But they also get scratch, canned corn , steak , cabbage and a mix of dietary feed that they just won’t eat. I’m frustrated that I don’t get eggs!
And when I do, it’s from a seven year old hen!
