How many?!So I finally decided on four breeds on the Peavey Mart website. They are the Buff Brahma, Lavender Orpington (little Hattie), Midnight Majesty Marans, and the Olive egger.
(There are so many more that I want to get but they're SO expensive-- will have to get them next year)

Some of it is, the tail and mane hair is dangerous to birds, so that stuff I put in the garbage, I have had the baby swallows get tangled in the horse hair the birds put in their nest. I haul I out of their nests before they sit on eggs.What's bad about eating horse hair?I's not long strands.... protein!
