Henny has lots of feathers also but she has not had any issues with the feathers. Maybe because she isn’t so large and heavy….

Initially I was very worried about her keeping her feet feathers dry and clean but she hasn’t had any issues so far.

The other Wyandotte's and Buffs think the feet feather don't belong on them!

The others might see a bit of dirt and then they all start pecking it, causing bleeding, which in turn turns into a "Mmm blood looks good let's eat it".
 
The other Wyandotte's and Buffs think the feet feather don't belong on them!
Wow! I don’t have that issue with any of my silkies feathered legs and feet, and the others.

Wonder why they would be so naughty?
