Use corn donuts from Walmart pharmacy. And wrap up the whole foot loosely.
The go to Costco and buy yourself a huge hotdog, they are delicious

Sad news.

My beautiful white Chantecler rooster, Snowbird, has died. I don't know what happened.

Rest in peace, buddy. Fly high and free.

I will bury him in the garden tomorrow.

I use the corn rings too. I think @bgmathteach set me on to that originally.

I’m not going to go easy on the hotdogs. They’re kosher, they’re good and I love lots of onions and mustard. I’ll lay off the pizzas for now

Don't hesitate to blow-dry when in doubt about a chicken's warmth, they can get hypothermia very quickly. All the chickens & chicks here I have ever blow-dried love it. Most help by preening where I'm fluffing too. Just be careful about the heat level, it helps to keep it moving and hold your own fingers in front of the breeze as you fluff to continuously gauge it.

I made myself a couple of sirloin steak tacos for dinner, and I’m full after two. Maybe I should go get Sir Jaffar, and let him decide if he’s hungry or not.

Ps. My freezer is still full of shrimp . The chooks love to eat the tails off, that I peal for them.
