I would like to have PonyPoor stay healthy and continue with her input on this site. She is Canada Kelly to me. And having her around, saves me a fortune on therapy sessions! :old:clap
I just bet 😆

I am around just tired getting over this virus, and not sleeping great 💕

But thanks for your kind words much appreciated 😊

Wow! Just wow! Thanks for sharing - this really makes me wonder about Martina/Floyd and what happened to him. I am now convinced that he was a victim of a brain injury from his squabbling with his brothers. After all he had that huge coiffe of his.
It definitely clarifies some things....breaks down genetics terms clearly .... and has me interested in (being as I don't have facilities for) following some of the breeding attempts for non-vaulted Silkies and Polish in the US. Houdans have Polish relatives, and have the vaulted skull as chicks, so should be included in that. I wonder...do Appenzeller Spitzhauben have vaulted skulls too?

It’s making me take a hard look now at getting Appenzellers - I think the author includes them in his article.

Also making me take a hard look at the silkies. I certainly don’t want to be responsible for maintaining a defect that is harmful.

Petunia is not well tonight. I think she is again having issues with passing an egg, I gave her half a calcium, and if she hasn’t perked up by morning I will give her another half. I also gave her a half aspirin to help with any pain and inflammation. Poor kiddo. I would not have expected my mutt chicken to be the one with such issues. It would not have surprised me if it was one of the Azures though.
