I sort of assumed they filed their beaks when they wiped them on the ground and on rocks.
I need to look at everyone’s beak! Not sure I would recognize if a beak was overgrown.
Like us they can have overbites which won’t be filed down easily on the ground.

I don’t seem to recall any of your gals with over bites. Stuff like that jump out at me, same with leg conformity - 46 yrs of looking at horse confirmation - heck I even look at peoples leg confirmation - I can spot knee and hip issues right away! 😁

Ok night all

Much of the time they scrape it themselves. Mine "wipe" their beaks on rocks and bark. Usually keeps it filed down just like their toe nails. Occasionally you have one that needs some help with it.
I was thinking that they scraped off their beaks, so they weren’t dirty when they kissed me! :love
