I use those little tiny plastic pots that dipping sauces come in if you order take-out. Then I don’t really need to decant them because those are tiny enough to bag up as they come.

Freezer tax: my cats did not like their new brand of food. So the Princesses helped me out by cleaning the plate.

We have some of those, but not enough. I measure spices out in them when making a complicated dish.

Hmmmm would spraying with ‘Pam’ help o wonder?

This may be a stopgap measure, I don’t have spray but could try olive oil or butter?

Silicone trays.....muffin tins.....grease the trays before putting the eggs in.....

These are silicone and with a little cooking spray eggs come out with no issues, you can push them right out! Mine are a little deeper and bigger than an ice cube tray as well which I personally like since most recipes call for 1 large egg.

Got a call from my doc, I have something called SVT with no dangerous arrhythmias. Looking into treatment options now. But my heart functions fully and it is just an annoying and uncomfortable thing, not a damaging or life threatening one!!! happy dance that I am going to be okay!

Anyone who was following the thread in the days when Lilly was queen know how apprehensive i was about the day Aurora took over the tribe. I thought she might become the greatest terror the world has ever seen and make everyone's life. I could not have been more wrong.

While she still has her rough edges, I truly believe she cares about the others. Today she spotted a large hawk again before the song birds. We have all seen how she does bed checks to make certain everyone is where they should be at bedtime.

Aurora will stand on the porch at dusk after everyone else has gone to bed and stand watch for a while. Tonight Éowyn was out late and entered the run. Aurora immediately started squawking at the top of her lungs until I came and got the cat out. Once I got the cat out, she then went into the main coop and roosted.

She is even concerned about her old nemesis Hattie.

I caught this on camera this morning. The coop doors had opened and everyone was in the run but Hattie. Watch how Aurora decides to remedy the situation.

I loved seeing her go under the side and look up and make her plan

Jaffar update: he’s lost some vision in his good eye. The comb is healing nicely. His torn wattle is probably permanent but healing well too. I have to guide him to his feed bowl and water bowl. Brave little man!

I really don’t want to hurt that rooster next door, but talking to the neighbor, didn’t help. He’s aware that his roo is visiting on my yard. I have to keep my birds locked up until I can figure out what to do. The sheriff said remove the offending rooster quietly and permanently. Animal control doesn’t do chickens. I don’t know what to do
