Yes, I've seen those before. We've had to clear large clumps of them out of the yard before because of how they stung. The thing is, I believe they are not poisonous to chickens. Are you sure it was the nettle?

Not totality - they say we will get 89% - I thought that was dramatic enough to be worth watching.
I think those are the same glasses I got - they just got delivered today - but I need to get some more as it turns out an eclipse tea party is more popular than I thought it would be!

Shelless Egg.
I just watched Brahms casually dumped a egg without a shell on the ground. I think she's been doing it for some time since we've caught them eating it before. As soon as the egg landed the others that were free ranging attempted to devour it. I got the egg. I don't think they eat shelled ones, just shelless.
