My bucket list has listed that I take Sir Jaffar everywhere I travel to now. His time is almost up. He needs me, and I need him!

How true that statement was, and I didn’t know how soon I would lose him. It makes me crazy, that I don’t have a rooster, just now, as I need one the most!!

A Speckled Suspect! Or maybe a jubilee orphanton.

I dunno, she was given to me by a friend. shes a subflock of 2 and her broodyness has the main flock like woah! Shes much more calm now tho. I wonder what breed she is. Tiny little wattles and comb. Almost nonexistent shes so friendly, love her.

Thank you. His father Bo (Buff Brahma) just passed away.

He gets most of the looks from him, and the red tones from the Red Bantu Cochin mother, who is still around.

I know words don’t help much, but I understand. It’s hard, but I believe our animal babies would want us to smile, even a little, through the tears.

Shape wise, she looks like a Speckled sussex. There a few jubilee orpingtons on here too, though, so.....?

So alone tonight in my house. No chickens in the spare room, no chickens on my bed. Nothing really interesting on TV.
My roo would know what to do on nights like this. But he is having a blast up in chicken heaven. And has no time for me anymore.
