So alone tonight in my house. No chickens in the spare room, no chickens on my bed. Nothing really interesting on TV.
My roo would know what to do on nights like this. But he is having a blast up in chicken heaven. And has no time for me anymore.

If they are scared, protect them, and if they are hungry, feed them.
Have your mindset on what the chooks need from the grocery store.
At all times, be attentive to clean water and food for them.
Always feed them before you feed yourselves. And if they cry loud enough, bring them in your house and make sure they are comfortable.
9- always check for bumble foot and any potential crop problems that you feel when you pet them to sleep.

I brought them in for the night because the Wyandotte was screaming so loudly that I could hear him from my room.

I am so sorry for your loss.
It seems many old friends have been saying goodbye in this thread. I hope we all keep them with us, by holding them in our thoughts.
