What is going on? Just like most Californians :lau View attachment 3851027
One word:
Yup, that was another option.

On the pros/cons list, permethrin required two applications, and gloves because it’s toxic on contact. Meanwhile Elector is safe to the touch and supposedly does the deed in one go. I’ll report back on the most important part: does it work.

Where can you get it from?

You're wrong on my judgement there. Because If people caused me and my neighbours all this unnecessary trouble and i was in your position I would do exactly the same. Just don't use your wealth to bully others

Actually I'm in a difficult situation here right now. But with no one else dealing with this situation I'm not sticking my head on the block . I'm no longer the martyr. People should stand together not ride on everyone else's backs!

I hate seeing people homeless. It's heart breaking, many of them do not deserve that treatment. The problem is sorting out who is who and why there are there in the first place :(

Some people don't deserve homes when the infringe on others in their home lives. Same said for people being responsible for children and animals.

Don't worry Alex, I won't hold back my views with you I've got your back as much as possible, being only an online friend. But i will kick your butt when I feel you are out of order. Same as all my friends or family.

If you were a selfish two faced jerk I'll have no interaction with you whatsoever.

I guess the Jerks are better off when it comes to knowing me 🤣
What do you suggest that I should do, if not use my financial resources to stop the offending neighbors? Bring out my shotgun? I’m not a bully nor have I ever been one. And being put in the category, offends me.

School chickie update

I now have the one ‘spraddle leg’ chick here, along with a friend. I borrowed the incubator to house them in as my brooder plate is in use with my bantam chicks, who use it at night.

I have placed hobbles on the wee chickie, did some leg stretching, and then positioned her in an upright position wrapped in a towel.

That color looks good on her 😉 I have my fingers crossed!

We have battled mites the last 3 years. Elector did nothing for us (i think we may have a bad/old bottle), we had some luck with Poultry Protector and torching the coop via @Shadrach method. This year i used sulphur powder at the first sign of them and had instant success. I dusted mostly the wood where i see them the most and under the nest box pads i use then dusted chicken bums very lightly.
