This is so exciting! Will you be rehoming all of them or keeping a few possibly?
Any Orpington hens are spoken for. I can't keep any boys so they will be rehomed. If a Polish hen happened to stay that would not be a bad thing......

I took these pictures Monday when the kittens were 10 days old but I wanted to save them for today. Happy Caturday everyone.

Now for individual photo's, they do not have names yet. These are just what we call them when me and mom weigh them. Last time Trixie had 4 identical kittens. This time around everyone is different.

Trixie Jr, female.

Black and white, although tabby markings are starting to appear as it grows. This one is tricky. When we sexed them at 3 days thought boy, now, it looks more like it is a female so we are calling it a girl.

Last night I tried and tried to get those chicks to roost on the ledge in the Summer House but the wanted to go on the wall of their pen.

Seems they have figured out the ledge is a great place finally. I hope they sleep there tonight.

They can all snuggle together without my worrying they will trample the bantams or knock them off the wall.

Trivia -- Dominiques were the original Pilgrim chicken ❤️ And the BRs are so pretty cuz they came from Dominiques. BRs resulted from cross-breeding Doms w/ Javas to be more dual purpose.

(The American Dominique: A Treatise for the Fancier by author Mark Fields).

With Doms & Javas known for good temperaments it's no wonder owners love their BRs (and Doms) w/ a passion :love
