Trivia -- Dominiques were the original Pilgrim chicken And the BRs are so pretty cuz they came from Dominiques. BRs resulted from cross-breeding Doms w/ Javas to be more dual purpose.

With Doms & Javas known for good temperaments it's no wonder owners love their BRs (and Doms) w/ a passion

Look at these Barred Rock babies
No I didn’t buy any more chicks at Peavey Mart.

They also had Americanas and Sapphire Gems - no really I didn’t buy any more chicks.

On Saturday I’ll have 7 more chicks though - the school chicks will arrive home.

Any Orpington hens are spoken for. I can't keep any boys so they will be rehomed. If a Polish hen happened to stay that would not be a bad thing......
