Well seems that the big chicks continue to roost on their pen wall.

The schools chicks are all conked out under their brooder.

I had to explain, so I sat down with Dakota, and told her that I like to snuggle with my feathered friends. I explained in detail why I need to share my love with her. Then I reached over and grabbed her. She squawked at me a bit as she always does. But then I gave her some chopped steak I had on the ready. She acted like “well that’s fine then, you have the good stuff!”

Babs died unexpectedly yesterday and I am a bit of a mess.
