Coming home yesterday and I saw one of these hanging out around the edge of our property near where my chickens free range.

The wing span was just enormous. Beautiful bird but also scary. It seems to have the area and thankfully left the chickens alone.

And my pain.
But I've been using the 3 mixed and heard today that the l-threonet may be better for our brain, nerves bones, heart and sleep. Plus a good omega along side this is apparently super good

I'll order these next time. But the ones I have has honestly been helping my dog.
DH & I take about 30 supplements plus a 77-trace minerals drink. Now my orthopedist advised I take calcium supplementation for my broken arm, however with my tendency of developing kidney and gallstones in the past he frowned & then suggested Vit D would be helpful. I take, nerve, brain, & eye supplements and have cut way down on B6 which can interfere w/ nerve health if taken in multiple vitamins which many contain as high as 50mg B6 per dose! Oy! One has to be so careful and informed these days. That's why we're careful about not overdosing our hens w/supplements.

One thing for sure is magnesium is a wonder supplement for my old age aches and pains :old.

Thank you 😊

I'm having a little more increased pain in my spine and hips, I think it's down to my antibiotics. I'm afraid to take the magnesium because of this because even eating my usual banana can interfere with these antibiotics :(

They are metronidazole and for serious dental issues

Pain is a hard and tiring battle :hugs

Confirmation re: whiskers is NEVER to be allowed fertile eggs.

Wait until Dorothy settles down, try again. (And if it doesn't work, it's NOT an indication re: chicks. It's a continuation of this attempt).
That Whiskers attacked me again- I dragged her off the nest and locked both her and Dorothy out of the hen house. I was over peeking under my truck parked outside to call Red inside when she again leapt up onto my back flogging me!

I am sure she is treating me like she would another hen, jumping on them attacking them. This time she scratched my back with her claws.

She is extremely lucky she didn’t get put in the freezer right then and there. As it is she is missing a whole handful of feathers from her back - I grabbed her by the back feathers hauled her up onto my arms and screamed in her face ‘you had better never do that again or you’re toast’. I think she got the message she ran off.

Who knew a 6lb chicken could be so vicious!

Anyways I have decide I am not bothering to even try placing them with Dorothy, I am too stressed now.

I guess because I had no troubles with the silkies and Sophia giving her chicks I figured it would be easy peasy. And Curly was just 2 weeks broody when I gave her these two. She is a model mum.

I do think Whiskers and Dorothy for that matter, would likely be a good mama if she sat eggs. But I am truly not interested in the rooster gamble one has with eggs.

And now I have 4 chicks I really didn’t want. But I know I can sell them, so no names for them. Hahaha that won’t last long, I’ll soon be calling them ginger and brownie and pookie and little-sh1t. Haha.

I honestly couldn't ever put up with such a brat. You tell her she's now in trouble big time.
Hopefully you scared her into submission now. If not I'd keep her away from the littles. That's just my few cents
