That is terrible. I'm very sorry this has added to your troubles.Last years hay is all moved, this years hay has yet to be brought over to my barn. I need to check it first to make sure it’s ok for my horses.
With all the rain here this summer I need to make sure it isn’t fausty.
I have a more serious issue with the barn roof leaking. It has caused water to get onto the ceiling of my feedroom/office.
This means I need to take the ceiling down and all the vapour barrier and insulation. Also need to remove the nails in the roof steel and replace with screws and new rubber washers to keep the water out. I will see if I can borrow the ‘tie off harnesses’ from work - I don’t like working on the roof, at my age a fall could be catastrophic.
I really don’t need this right now but seems I am destined to have rotten luck these days. Anyways my BIL and I will work on this over the weekend. Pray for no more rainand hopefully not hot and humid.
