Ours gather at the sliding door for a variety of reasons:

DANA waits for DH to ritualistically escort her to the coop every evening

GINNY likes to hog the coop ramp until DH shoo's her into the coop.

SUZU quietly puts herself away first in one of the nestboxes:

The 3 new Silkies are discovering they get an evening treat at the porch before roosting

They train us so well!

What a sweet photo! My childhood Cindy was a Tabby and smart too. Is this one a boy since you said his?

Thank you! I have been warned that brown tabbies are crazy. My mom has had two boy tabby kittens. That's Alice Cooper. Thought he was a boy, then a girl, then a boy again. He's a very, very vocal kitten.

At a few minutes before 2am this crazy lady flies down from her prime position on the big roost and spends the rest of the night here.

I can’t tell if that is Tassels or Calypso.
And what is with all this flying in the depth of night. Feels dangerous to me.

Sweetie pie is the friendliest and a big suck she loves to cuddle.

Butters is also friendly but not the big suck like Sweetie, she likes to also peck at my ankles.

Goldie is not so friendly, but will come and pull at my slacks, and peck my legs, she doesn’t want to be picked up at all.

This is the only way I can tell them apart!

When I got my 4 Bielefelders, I had two that were more red, two that were more dun colored. I could always tell Pip because she was the smallest. That was it for the first couple weeks. Then teeny tiny combs started to grow. That made it easier.

Gosh they sure are funny little birds aren’t they. I have the same problems with jealousy from my older ladies; and now my young babies seem to think I am their own personal Hooman
