Exactly. She just launched herself from over 4’ into the dark. Horrifying!

I can bolt upright in bed really fast it seems! Though what I thought o could do way out there I don’t know.

But she wasn’t injured or anything- silly bird had to lay an egg I guess.

Birds gathering here too. It’s the season. Another couple weeks and the trees will start turning colour here.

Has anyone used those ‘pinless peepers’ goggles they put on hens to stop pecking? I was wondering if they would stop the Roos from scrapping.

Has anyone used those ‘pinless peepers’ goggles they put on hens to stop pecking? I was wondering if they would stop the Roos from scrapping.

I've read pros and cons about peepers. Some found success -- others say they come off or get pulled off. Guess it depends on the flock?

@Ponypoor -- are Lulu and Truly twins? THREE horses! One is expensive to board down here and its rare to even see one anymore on the provided trails.
