Meat Bird

The seller of the eggs is saying that Aster is a meat bird and therefore could not have possibly come from them................

I'm not getting my money back. I will keep speaking with them but I'm not getting my money back.
Wtfrench!?
That is scummy as heck dude.
Aster does not look broad enough to be a CX so not sure...
Gosh I'm sorry you're experiencing that. I hope Aster still grows up to be a nice bird for you.

I just bought a chick-nik table. My mother in law is picking it up from the duck sanctuary today and she'll bring it over tomorrow. I'm not sure if this is the one I'm getting, I just know mine is orange!

From many bad experiences I've found too many private breeders either don't admit their mistake, refuse to refund $$$, or ship sub-par or even sick birds. I have only one reputable breeder left that I trust and happens to be local. If you've followed my 13+yrs saga on this FBA thread I shared our multiple mishaps with private well-known breeders -- just didn't choose to list their names!

Hatcheries often get a bad name but honestly they will replace or refund if you meet within their timeframe for reporting legitimate mishaps/errors.
