‘hippy curtain’ - I was going to ask if you had bamboo growing, did you buy that here or there? I bet it’s a good sun break and wind screen.

I installed it a few weeks before I left. I love it. Bamboo beads.
It is mainly for me as a sun shade when I sit out with the chickens and I love it. Gives the world a sort of dreamy view and the slight click clack sound in the wind is lovely.
Then it comes with an added bonus that it creates a sort of porch that I hope is somewhat hawk protective.

By the way, the missing cat has emerged (where do they hide?!) and is demanding cudddles. He is chewing my ear and is not particularly gentle!

Wacky wattles Wednesday

The list currently doesn't have lavender orpingtons either. That's why I'm wondering where they're getting their eggs....the breed list seems to keep changing.

Wonder how reputable they are. It’s so sad people have to be dishonest, just fess up and move on, say sorry and try to make it right. That’s good customer service.

At any rate she is a lovely chick, I can’t wait to see what colour egg she lays!

Oh he’s a looker - hopefully he stays friendly and doesn’t turn into a jerk with people. So far he is still a big suck.

Speaking of, guess I better off do chores, day light hours are getting less now, gets dark at 9:30 now.
