I think you should keep Mr. & Mrs. Little Chicken. I am still convinced that once he understands he can't take on any other roosters he will escape upwards and be fine.

I am wanting to rehome him this week, I do not want to have the trouble of yet another Roo.
While he is very cute...I live with a cute tiny rooster who weighs one kilo (2.2 pounds) and thinks he can take on the one that weighs 3.7 (8 pounds).
It doesn't matter if he already took many thrashings. He is still totally convinced he's the biggest meanest in the yard.

Part 11 of the doctor trip.
The doctor looked to be fed up with Grandma not listening to her, so she then decided to write a prescription for Grandma and this has to be the weirdest prescription I have ever seen. While Grandma is a chicken, she knows that what the doctor prescribed to her was just not a prescription, but rather an over the counter medicine. I mean, does she realize that Grandma is just a chicken and shouldn't be treated as a human? For her legs, the doctor prescribed Vicks to Grandma. Yes, Vicks as in the ointment used to treat coughs. She also prescribed exercise, like walking.At this point, Grandma just stayed quiet, about to plan her next idea. Grandma was not convinced that this doctor was a real doctor. Final part coming soon.

Awww Théo you are such a cutie, but I am sure also a total brat!

And yes this is exactly what I worry about with Mr LC and Mr P. I almost had a coronary this morning when Rosario was pummelling Mr LC a good one, all it take is one stomp on the head to break a neck (been there and do not want to witness that ever again).

I had a stallion here and the only reason he stayed a stallion is because he was too old to geld without a serious risk of serious complications due to his age.

But it’s a PITA to have un-neutered male ‘anything’ around as they are generally aggressive and all they want to do is breed and fight.

Which is why I am unhappy about not being able to geld chickens!

I await in anticipation 😊

Meanwhile back to chicken watching

@notabitail, @CCsGarden
I am so sorry about In Albis.
:hugs :hugs:hugs

@CCsGarden and @notabitail ~ Oh, no! Not In Albis, your precious Dominique angel! It's so painful to lose our babies and worse not knowing why! When they're old we hurt but when so young it's especially painful ☹️

So sorry you lost her but so glad she had you to give her all possible care and comfort ❤️

@notabitail

I'm so sorry 😞. You and CC did everything possible. She was so lucky to have you. :hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs

So sorry to hear this - she was a beautiful hen and I know she was adored and loved by your sister and you.

@CCsGarden and @notabitail I'm very sorry for In Albis. I will miss all her tricks to get in to grab some food. Are all your other chooks ok, no one showing similar symptoms?

I'm so sorry - my thoughts go out to you and @CCsGarden
:hugs :hugs :hugs :hugs :hugs :hugs :hugs

Both of you clearly love and care for your chooks well!
Thank you all.

ManueB, I will be keeping a eye out for any similar symptoms in those chickens. It's going to be hard to tell since some of them were grumpy yesterday and I feel they're going to be really sad this week.
