Undecided on what exactly he/she is. Big legs and feet, but doesn’t crow and acts like a rooster outside, but like a loving hen inside. Maybe I have only one rooster after all? :idunno But it has a big fluffy butt. IMG_4618.jpeg IMG_4615.jpeg

Princess has just had turmeric garlic with mash. I'm hoping it will help detox and ease any pain. She's also had electrolytes water through a syringe.
She's just sitting quietly outside now with amori for company.

I keep thinking what would happen to Marie if Princess got sick or died? I hate to think about it. But princess is not a young chicken anymore. I keep praying for her health and wellbeing

I'll still be coming into fluffy butt's. But believe me I won't be getting over princess very quickly. She's been with me for years.

She always goes down when she's moulting, and the hot day's has brought that on big time

I know turmeric works against pain. And she's seems a lot's more comfortable than yesterday, so hopefully I can bring her back for a while.

Would squash be okay or would it losen her poop more? I'll look this up

Sherlock training has hit a major achievement: 2 consecutive mornings on a "Stay" command on the deck while I take feed out to the coop and open it. The Release The Horde is a major chase temptation. Add in his desire to be with his person (me) and its difficult for him to Stay anywhere. Yesterday took several attempts to get him to stay put (I'd disappear behind the bush on the corner of the deck and he'd move so he could see me. Back to try again.

This morning, he stayed in front of the door where he could see me once I got down the steps. I was even able to go into the coop to open the bird door and refill the bucket inside!

Pumpkin is good for them. It's a type of squash. It might loosen things, but it's good.

If Rudy is dominate, he may not crow for a while yet.
Rudy is Rudy. He’s the Wyandottey. He’s popular with the ladies because I show him a lot of affection and attention. This one is snuggled up against me, keeping me warm this morning. I did hear Rudy out in the coop crowing.
