Alright ill send you a link to the fourm. I would love to keep her indoors but she is a huge bird, a boss lady and will get so mad its crazy!

At first a hen that isnt accustomed to handling may be jumpy but after several daily treatments they know what to expect but still have a 2nd helper if possible. Our Dominique is a mellow bird but still needed to get used to standing in warm water. Have a paper towel under her vent to catch poops

Onions are toxic to chickens as well as dogs. It causes a kind of leukemia in dogs. Onions, avocados, chocolate, etc are toxic to our pets.

Yep lol, but there was a whole lot of blood. Not like a ton ton but a good amount, more than I would like. Wich leads me to belive I hurt her for no reason. Wich upstets me.

Bleeding will clean out if there's pus & will heal ~ as long as there's no redness in toes or foot or leg and always have a good swab of antibiotic ointment on a cotton makeup pad on the wound.

Happy Mugs Monday from a complaining Owly

Raven has her spot and would not move so she could lay her egg.

Sigh, nope I did not catch her in time. She is full on stubborn and broody. I say no chicks for her. Her flock mates, the Queen wants chicks, let us all donate eggs. The girls who use the porch boxes, those crazy hens are now laying their eggs beside Raven so she can tuck them under her. Raven, you are the head hen now, you do not have time to raise chicks.

That is absolutely Adorable & so darn cute but still way bigger than we need ~ 4 Silkie egg slots is way more than enough and that one's got 8 slots ~ way too big, so sorry but someone will need it I bet! Possible to make smaller?

I sewed wedding dresses and did my best to understand what a bride wanted but many times I had to seam ripper apart my work to modify. So frustrating but I gave the brides what they wanted. One bride got pregnant after the 1st fitting and 2 weeks later day before the wedding was busting out of her bodice! Overnight modifications ~ fastest I ever did an alteration
