I got a good haul of peaches. I suspect the raccoons will strip the trees over night so that may be the last of them.
Also got a good haul of apples. I kept a wary eye out for bears. For some reason the bears love the apples but not the peaches.
Tax is Piglet demanding her share of peaches. As you can see, she already has a crop full!

Glorious! Both the peaches and Piglet 🥰

I am already planning for next year. I have the tree marked where I will give it a severe pruning, and I want to put some electric strands around it next spring to keep the vermin away, and also some netting for those evil beetles.

My chooks turn up their beaks literally, when I offered them citrus. Apples, grapefruit, and oranges. I even tried kiwi 🥝.
The only thing that they’ll eat is figs.
Same

My gang only like sweet fruits like melon, peaches, plums. And most veggies except broccoli. They run for the hills when they see broccoli!

My chickens pick the juice and soft parts out and leave the peel for me to throw away.
I have never tried citrus fruit as it isn’t something I eat much of - it disagrees
With me so I don’t buy it.

Mine love a whole head of cabbage - that’s a huge treat for them 🥰

Yep and the paint on the barn door. Yum!
Paint is delicious!
I’ve heard of Speckled Suspects, now I have heard of something new: “Victim C” :gig
That's my rapper name

Allergic to citrus so it doesn't get anywhere near me. My mum tried to give them some tangerine peels once and they ignored them

Cabbage is their favorite! Forget individual leaves, the whole ball or nothing!

Ok all heading to the barn and then sleep, long weekend so hope to get the rest of the hay and straw in. Then fix some fencing, and mow the grass.

It is raining again

Sick of rain.

Curly is sick of rain too! But it sure made her feathers soft and fluffy from that soaking last week!
