I'm binge watching the BBC series "Inspector Alleyn Mysteries" on Amazon Prime ~ one episode had a Pekinese puppy named "POPPET"

Well, 20 minutes before I was supposed to head down we got a thunderstorm that almost resulted in a flash flood. Tonight's show ended up being cancelled. I gained a child in the process. As of right now tomorrow's show is supposed to be still on. I highly doubt it though. The ring will be good, it actually needed the rain. The bottom, that will be iffy. Of course that has never stopped them before. They just use the tractor to help pull out those stuck in the mud.

I love it! Wish I were closer to sit and watch with you nothing like watching the teens jibber jabber and act all cool - and get all annoyed when ‘mum’ is watching

I hope they all like horses and chickens though!

Be safe at the horse show - is Rosie showing this weekend?

Her friends love the chickens and adore Russ. Rosie is not showing. She has not shown Russ all year. Russ can handle being ridden at a walk only now. If she wants to show she is going to have to start riding Dirt. This season she has hung out with the friends she only sees at the horse shows.

I have never tried citrus fruit as it isn’t something I eat much of - it disagrees
With me so I don’t buy it.

Mine love a whole head of cabbage - that’s a huge treat for them

Mine wasn't ever kean on cabbage unless it is steamed, they loved broccoli and princess still does

Dakota wanted inside the chickens room so badly, she leaped off my arm and flew up to the high perch. Leaving my arm bleeding. She must have hit the right spot, because it hasn’t stopped bleeding yet.

The cats help with mice abatement. But they also bring the fleas

Give them a bit of food with garlic powder. No fleas on my cat dog or the two outdoor cats

Oh, there's gotta be a Fair, Swap Meet, or Farmers Market in a heavier populated area to get more people traffic! Your projects are wonderful & just needs exposure!

And those beautiful grapes. I'm so surprised they're not tasty! I remember decades ago as a kid loving the Concord grapes shipped to Calif & I have craved those luscious imports from childhood. Nowadays fresh Concords aren't available here ~ probably some agricultural law prohibiting it.

Smart to fence off the grapes ~ chickens, animals, can overdose on the sugar content. We sparingly give grapes to our hens ~ they have a massive sweet tooth!

We have a perch directly over the pop door. Our barn coop is elevated, w/ a ladder ramp leading up to the pop door.

The coop was prefabricated & as we assembled it the coop offered 5 perch slots to pick from so we chose the lowest middle slot over the pop door. We never needed to install more than one perch. Never been a problem over the pop door.
