Morinth is sleeping with the adults tonight. The BOrps and Bab have all of the youngest snuggled in the nestboxes of the second coop from my quick glance while getting the door.

Coop 3 pics so far. I think I'll line it with the foiled bubblewrap too just to be safe from drafts.

So, you must have been awarded it Sept. 5th (I think they have 90 day PFMs, and Oct. has 31 - so I am pretty sure that is how it works...not 100%, though)How about one fo the following:

I would cover the bubble wrap with some thin plywood so they don’t nibble on it. 1/4” or thinner would be perfect.

My bad chooks decided they like the bubble insulation I lined the wall with before I could enclose it. Sheesh! What next will they try? So far: eyeballs, paint on the barn door, insulation, styrofoam, horse poop……

Today Squeak hopped up and sat on my lap. She is my aloof Bielefelder. I don't think she's been on my lap since she was a chick!

I refrained from petting her, mostly. Very light caress on her side. She was ok with 3 or 4, then looked like she was going to get up and go, so I stopped. She sat for about 5 minutes.
